Welcome to The Cords & Co. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this website. The following terms and conditions are valid between you and The Cords & Co. AB (Reg. no. 559042-9899) (henceforth: The Cords & Co.; may be referred as “The Cords”, “us” and “we”) and apply to all use of and orders placed on The Cords & Co.’s websites;,,,,,, and It includes all contact with the brand through the website and with our Customer Service.

  By using this website and making a purchase, you agree to these terms of use.

We may modify the Terms and Conditions from time to time. If you do not agree to any change to the Terms and Conditions, please immediately stop using the website. Any changes made after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless we are required to make the change by law. Please make sure that you have read and understood these terms of use when using our site.


By placing an order on our website, the purchase is a subject to the terms and conditions. The website is intended for sales to consumers only. A binding purchase agreement is concluded when your order has been confirmed by us via an order confirmation, which includes your order number, details of the product you have ordered from us, your payment details and delivery details. It is important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service that you may have in the future. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a guarantee and proof of purchase.

In order to shop at The Cords & Co. website you must be at least 18 years old.

Please note that we do not guarantee that all products presented on the website are in stock or are available for purchase. The Cords & Co. reserves the right to cease selling a product. We also hold the right to change prices, change incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is incorrect, we may have to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount. This can be performed at any time.

Privacy Policy

The Cords & Co (Reg. no. 559042-9899) asks you for certain personal data to provide you with the products or services you request. For example, when you make purchases, contact our consumer services, request to receive communications, create an account, participate in our events or contests, or use our websites. This data may include your name, delivery and billing address, email address, contact numbers and specific purchase details. We will use your personal data for order fulfillment, and therefore, we may share your data with selected suppliers involved in fulfilling your order and delivery process; for example, the processing of payments, distributing emails, maintaining and improve the experience and service of the website.

In addition to data collection, we automatically receive your IP address when you browse our website, in order to transfer information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Why do we collect data?
The Cords & Co AB follows the following principles in order to protect your privacy:

  3. we do not keep your data if it is no longer needed or if you want us to delete it

    • To Communicate Information about our Products, Services, Events and for Other Promotional Purposes. For example as a newsletter subscriber, we keep your email address to provide you with relevant information. Additionally we do not store any social media personal data, and you are eligible to unsubscribe from our social media flows using the services of the channel. We will never sell your personal information to any third party.

On what basis are we storing your personal data?
Our privacy policy is based on the European Union regulation General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679. In accordance to this regulation, you have the right to know the information that we have registered about you and the purpose for it. Your personal data will only be stored for as long as needed or for as long as is provided by law.

How do we get your consent to use and store your personal data?
The information collected when placing an order is based on legal requirements for order fulfillment. When you provide your personal information by signing up for our newsletters or contacting our customer service team you give your consent for collecting and using this data for that specific reason only.

Your right to withdraw your consent
If the information is incomplete or irrelevant, or if you wish for us to remove your data you may ask to have your information corrected and/or removed. If you wish to do this, please contact our customer service team.


We do our best to make our website as secure as possible. The Cords website secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the website. We co-operate with an authorised payment service provider (PSP), who processes your personal details in accordance with the international security standard PCI DSS, developed by international credit card companies such as VISA, MasterCard and Diners. All transactions will be sent through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) in encrypted form and all card details and payment information will be protected and processed with a high level of security.


We always describe and display the products as correctly as possible on the website. Please note that due to the colour settings of your computer, the colours of the products shown in the pictures on the website can differ somewhat from their actual colours.

Payment Terms

Please note that no orders will be sent until full payment is received. In the event that no payment is received after submitting your order, we have the right to automatically cancel your order. Adyen banking services manages all of our banking transactions. The Cords & Co. does not store any credit card numbers.

The following payments are accepted:

  • Card payment
    We accept card payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and several local payment options. Your payment is handled by Adyen with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank.  
  • Paypal
    By paying through your Paypal account, you do not need to enter your account information. All you have to do is log in to your Paypal account via our checkout.

Promo Code

The only way to use a promo code for your purchase is to enter it during the checkout process. All campaigns are limited in time. Multiple offers can normally not be combined. A promo code is only valid once per customer and purchase. In case of obvious misuse of offers, we reserve the right to cancel any orders made.

  On orders eligible for a gift or discount the value of the gift/discount is considered as a general discount on the total amount of the order. If part of or the entire order is sent back for exchange or refund the value of the returned merchandise is recalculated and the purchase price minus the relative share of the overall discount will be credited.

  Promotions and discount codes are only valid on new orders and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Prices and availability

We regularly update the website and at the same time, we try to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

The prices and delivery costs shown on the website may change from time to time and The Cords & Co. are not bound by the price until we have accepted the order by sending the order confirmation to you. The delivery costs will be added to the order on the checkout page and may differ based on which country to which your order is shipped.

There are no customs or import charges within the EU. Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are imposed once your package reaches your country. We ship your package according to Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), which means we do not collect VAT, duties and/or taxes on orders to countries outside the EU and we cannot predict what your particular charges may be. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Currency changes

The Cords is not responsible for any changes in currency value or conversion rates that your bank or credit card company may use when charging in your country’s currency.

Stock levels

Stock levels depend on availability and we do our best to ensure that all orders are packed accordingly to the desired quantities and styles. Should any order not be fulfilled by our warehouse upon packing due to products becoming out of stock, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. We will refund you for the missing product and send the rest of your goods.


The Cords & Co. will dispatch approved orders as quickly as possible and in the order in which they are received. We always aim to deliver your order as soon as possible and operate Monday to Friday, but not on public holidays. Delivery normally takes about 2-5 working days from the time you place the order and receive the order confirmation. Once your package is shipped we will send you a shipping confirmation email, so you can keep track of your order. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on high season deliveries or where the order is to be delivered, though the latest within 30 days from order date. The delivery cost will be specified in the order summary before you submit your order. You are asked to inspect delivered items upon delivery and report any deviations found as stated under Returns below.

Shipping methods

We offer different shipping methods to meet your needs as further specified when you check out. Most orders are shipped with standard mail. Depending on the intended ship-to location, orders can be subject to other shipping methods and the specific warehouse processing the order may utilise tracking. Applicable orders will have the tracking reference provided in the shipping confirmation email.

Force Majeure

The Cords shall be exonerated from liability for damages and other penalties if the execution of the contract is prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall be deemed to include but not be limited to war, riot, labour conflicts, fire, flood, storm, accident, fuel or power shortages, transportation shortages, obstacles or interruptions regarding transportation at sea and breakdowns or interruptions of any kind as regards our equipment or facilities, which are deemed necessary for the performance of our agreements' obligations.


If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to cancel the order before it is shipped but in cases where the order has been dispatched you are required to receive the order and return the products.

Exchange and returns

You have the right to return or exchange your purchase within a period of 30 calendar days after the day you receive the products. (Products in the deal section can only be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase date) The Cords offer a free return service and will pay the delivery cost for returning the products worldwide in accordance with your right of return and exchange. For your convenience, both exchange and returns can be made at all of our flagship stores. Upon your return or exchange of your purchase, please return the products as soon as reasonably practicable but no later than 14 days after sending your notice.

For the right to return to be valid, the product and its original packaging must be returned in the same condition in which they were received; undamaged, unused and sealed. All labels and tags must be intact within your return. For hygienic reasons underwear cannot be returned.

If you wish to exercise your right to send back an order, we ask you to contact our customer service for further return information. We will help you and we can speed up the return process and also send you your refund as soon as possible. Purchased products can be exchanged for a different size and/or colour. All exchanges are based on stock availability. If you exchange a product, we will pay the shipping costs for the new product. If you wish to exchange the products in any of the described ways, please contact our customer service for further return information. Thereafter, you can place an order on the new product. As soon as the return is received, we will refund the exchanged products.


Refund conditions

The Cords & Co. will refund you the amount for the returned product as soon as possible. When we have received and approved your return we will process the refund in our system. You can expect the money to show on your account within 3-5 business days after the refund is made. Additional duties and/or taxes will not be refunded. Neither will shipping costs, as mentioned above. For countries within the EU, VAT will be included in the refund. The refund is made using the same payment method you used at the purchase. If you wish to return the products to one of our flagship stores, the amount will be directly refunded to your credit card.

When returning please follow the steps below.

  1. Contact our customer service and notify them of your return. We will supply you with return instructions and a return form
  2. Pack the products in the same way you received them
  3. Use the return form provided by customer service, fill out the form and specify the return reason
  4. Send the package from your nearest post office to the address stated on the return form
  5. Wait for the return to be approved and thereafter you will receive the refund  


If you receive defective products, please notify us immediately. According to the Swedish Consumer Act (1990: 932) (or local equivalents) you are entitled to complain about defective products within three years. However, you must always notify The Cords within a reasonable time after you have detected that the products are defective. You must report this to us and send the products back. If we consider the products to be defective, we will send you a replacement product or you can cancel the shipping of the replaced product and receive a full refund.

The same applies in the event that you identify that a product has been damaged during transportation or if there are other inaccuracies in the delivery, e.g. faulty product or that the number of products delivered is not consistent with your order.

Unclaimed packages

If you fail to collect your products upon delivery, we reserve the right to debit a charge from you, to cover the cost for return freight and administration.


The warranty covers only original manufacturing errors. Defects that occur after a change in the product's function and appearance are not covered. Your order confirmation is valid as a guarantee. To use the warranty, please contact us via e-mail. In the e-mail, you need to specify your name, address, order number and a detailed description of the issue.


  The Cords & Co. reserves the right to cancel any order if fraud or similar activity, such as unauthorised use of another person’s credit card, is suspected. All fraud attempts will be reported to the authorities.

User Generated Content

The Cords website may include user-generated content from different social medias. We do not claim any ownership in rights for such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and therefor take no legal responsibility for it. In case you suspect any violation of copyright or are offended by such content, please contact our customer service.
